 The PDS-6000 scans up to 80 ppm (page per minute) / 160 ipm (image per minute) duplex and with its 100-sheet document feeder it is capable of high-volume scanning for large businesses .

 The PDS-6000 has a wide variety of advanced scanning features such as ultrasonic multi-sheet detection allowing you to reduce the risk of lost data and the reverse roll system that will alert you to any risk of paper jams.

 The PDS-6000 also offers advanced image processing: background color attenuation, color detection, color background removal and page alignment.

 The PDS-6000 is Kofax 5.1 VRS Elite, Omnipage SE 18 compatible as well as TWAIN, ISIS, WIA, ICA and SANE drivers.

 Auto alignment, auto crop, auto rotate
 Automatically aligns scanned images for professional rendering.
 Removing blank pages
 Blank pages can be automatically deleted, reducing the size of scanned files.
 Dynamic level management
 When images or text are difficult to read due to color density, dynamic threshold management brightens or darkens the image to the desired value. The level of highlights and shadows can be adjusted to improve readability.
 Remove small ink spots
 When the original document has a few ink spots or pits, the Image Enhancement Tool will help you clean the media.
 Background process
 Softens or removes unwanted colors, lightens or darkens images from scanning.
 Edge management
 Removes unwanted image edges, cleans shadows generated by document borders.
 Removing workbook holes
 Produces crisp borders by removing binder holes from the scanned image. Intuitive color fill based on the background color.
 Background color attenuation
 Removes colored backgrounds (red, green, blue, etc.) to improve the readability of the text.
 Automatic color detection
 The scanner eliminates the need to sort black & white and color documents by automatically choosing the scan mode based on the documents.
 Multi-channel
 Color images can be saved in both monochrome, grayscale, or color for multi-copy use.
